Ouest-Ville Perennials
It's a bit drizzly today, but I'm just getting ready to head down to Ouest-Ville Perennials for my 2 to 3:30 book signing and veggie garden Q & A.. Can't wait.. Hope to see you there!
I purchased your book about two week and I'm so excited about getting started in the garden! I try to remind myself that I can't do it all in one year but will have to build upon my garden year after year. I did go and purchase everything I need for two cold frames as detailed in your book. I am wondering where to buy the sheet of polycarbonate? Thanks! Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth! Thanks so much for your kind comments.. I hope you get much joy (and veggies!) from your cold frames.. we bought our lexan polycarbonate at Halifax Seed.. are you in Halifax? Some folks have also told me they've had luck at used building supplies places too. I would call around. I think the lexan at Halifax Seed is about $1.95 per square foot. But it won't break and does last for many years.. Keep me posted! Niki
Great thanks so much Niki! Also, if we didn't use hemlock do you recommend staining the wood to protect it? I've talked to two other gardener friends and they too purchased your book and are excited about extending the gardening season.
